Daughter diagnosed with tumour, man ends life with her in Nizamabad

The deceased were identified as Raghupathi and his daughter Neha from Indrapur area.

Nizamabad: A man, who came to know that his one-and-half-year-old daughter was suffering from a brain tumour, ended the lives of both of them by jumping into a lake in the suburbs of Nizamabad town on Monday. The deceased were identified as Raghupathi and his daughter Neha from Indrapur area.

According to reports, Raghupathi was depressed ever since he learnt about his daughter’s brain tumor. On Monday morning, Raghupathi took Neha along with him to the Nyalk Masani lake situated in the suburbs of Nizamabad town and jumped into it. Passersby who noticed Raghupathi jumping in the lake informed the police.


The police reached the spot along with divers and retrieved the bodies and shifted them to the government hospital for postmortem. A case was registered and investigation is underway.
