Deadly crash in Telangana: Truck runs over vegetable vendors, four killed, many injured
The tragic incident took place when a truck, reportedly driven recklessly and negligently, ran over a group of vegetable vendors selling their goods by the roadside. Four people were confirmed dead at the scene, while at least 10 others sustained injuries in the accident.
Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, at least four persons died and several others were grievously injured when a rashly driven truck ran over them at Aluru gate, Chevalla – Bijapur national highway on Monday.
The incident occurred when the truck, which was apparently being driven in rash and negligent manner, ran over the victims, who were vegetable vendors selling vegetables on the road side.
While four persons reportedly died on the spot, atleast 10 others were reportedly injured in the accident.
The truck with the same speed crashed into a roadside tree before coming to halt. The driver was trapped in the cabin.
On receiving information, the local police reached the spot and took up rescue operation.
It is feared that the death toll might increase.
