Hyderabad: Yashoda Hospitals-Hitech City hosted ‘Deccan Hematolink 3.0’, the largest international conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the field of Hematology with over 700 national and 10 international oncology and hemato-oncology medical experts participating.
Yashoda Group Hospitals Managing Director, Dr.G.S.Rao, who inaugurated the two-day conference, said fighting blood cancer is not just about medical treatment, it also requires mental strength, financial support and community awareness. Cancer burden in India is steadily rising, projected to increase from 1.46 million new cases (2022) to 1.57 million (2025), and blood cancers remain a significant and growing part of clinical practice.

Yashoda Hospitals-Hitech City, Senior Hematologist, Dr. Ganesh Jaishetwar, said Yashoda Hospitals, in the last 13 years, has performed more than 600 successful bone marrow transplants and treated thousands of blood cancer patients, giving them a new lease of life.
