Hyderabad: The Musheerabad police identified the person whose body was found in the overhead water tank at Risala locality on Tuesday as B Kishore (26), a painter from Chikkadpally.
According to the police, Kishore, an auto driver cum painter, was addicted to liquor and lived at Ambedkar Nagar in Musheerabad. On November 19, he left home after a quarrel with his brother Naresh and did not return home. On November 23, his relatives lodged a complaint with the Chikkadpally police following which a man missing case was booked.
Even as the police were making efforts to trace him, the highly decomposed body of the man was found in the water tank on Tuesday afternoon by workers of the HMWS&SB.
“The family members suspect that Kishore might have jumped into the water tank and ended his life. The investigation is going on,” police said.
