Deepika Padukone relives 35 years of life in special video
The Padmaavat actor thanked her co-stars and fans by sharing some priceless pictures
On receiving birthday wishes from fellow actors, fans, friends, and family, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone shared a ‘thank you’ message along with a video chronicling 35 years of her life.
The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani star hopped on to Instagram and shared a montage featuring priceless pictures that captured different milestones achieved by her. The montage captured snaps of the actor from her childhood days to candid shots from her movies, modelling assignments to her marriage with Ranveer Singh. It also featured the posters of her films both in Hollywood and Bollywood.
The video concluded with a childhood picture of Padukone as she sits beside a huge cake, with a message that read, “Never lose sight of your goals (cake).” “The journey has been nothing short of incredible…& for that I’ve got my family, friends and all of you to thank!” wrote Padukone alongside the video.
The video garnered more than 1 lakh views with celebs sending birthday wishes in the comments section. Varun Dhawan noted, “Happy bday dp.”

Earlier in the day, scores of Bollywood stars and fans extended birthday greetings to the star.
Alia Bhatt posted a picture of Deepika on her Instagram Stories with a note praising the Padmaavat star. “Happy birthday DP. You are and always be an inspiration of beauty and strength inside out! and here’s to many many more random adventures together… Love you!” Alia captioned the image.
Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar wished Deepika, and also shared advanced wishes for late Irrfan Khan in the same post. Sircar had directed Deepika and Irrfan in his 2015 superhit Piku, also starring Amitabh Bachchan.
Meanwhile, hubby Ranveer shared a romantic post of Deepika, whom he lovingly tagged as Biwi No. 1. “Biwi No.1 @deepikapadukone #happybirthday,” Ranveer wrote. Sharing a childhood picture of the actor, he added, “My jaan, my life, my gudiya…. Happy birthday!!!@deepikapadukone.”
