Hyderabad: A day after winning the gold in the 100m event in U-23 girls event, Jeevanji Deepthi took the top honours in the 100m women’s category, at the 1st Telangana State U-23, men and women championship, organised by the Hyderabad District Athletics Association, at the Gachibowli Stadium, on Sunday.
She crossed the finish line in 11.78 seconds ahead of Hyderabad’s G Nithya and Mancherial’s S Sujatha.
Meanwhile, Khammam district emerged overall champions in the event.
