Deer injured in road mishap near University of Hyderabad
A deer was seriously injured after being hit by a speeding car near the University of Hyderabad. The animal had strayed out of the forest area within the campus.
Hyderabad: A deer was injured in a road accident near the University of Hyderabad on Saturday.
A speeding car hit the deer after the animal reportedly strayed out of the forest area within the university campus and entered the Gachibowli–Lingampally Old Mumbai National Highway, leaving it seriously injured.
Upon receiving information, the Hyderabad Central University Animal Protection Team rushed to the spot and rescued the deer. The injured animal was later shifted to a wildlife conservation and rescue centre for medical treatment.
