Hyderabad: A 19-year-old degree student who left her hostel in Ghatkesar allegedly without permission was later found to have married her boyfriend in Vikarabad district.
According to the police, the student, a native of Dharur in Vikarabad district, is pursuing second-year degree at the Social Welfare Women’s Degree College in Ankushapur in Ghatkesar.
She reportedly left the hostel on March 4 without informing the college authorities. After noticing her absence, the college principal lodged a complaint with the Ghatkesar police. A case of missing woman was booked.
Even as the Ghatkesar police started investigating, they received information from the local police in Vikarabad that the student had married her boyfriend there on March 5.
