Delhi Public School, Nadergul celebrates Republic Day with pomp

Delhi Public School, Nadergul celebrated Republic Day with great vigour and joy. It was graced with the presence of esteemed guests, parents, teachers and students. The programme began with the soothing prayer song by the choir and a majestic welcome dance performance by Drithi, a tiny tot of class I.
The occasion was graced virtually by Col Vishal Ahlawat, Multiple Guinness World Record holder and sports enthusiast, school chairman Komariah, principal Padma Jyothi Turaga accompanied by the vice-principal Kiran Khanna, headmistress Anuradha Vinay and PRO Robin.
The Chief Guest, Col Vishal Ahlawat has inspired and motivated the students to strive towards achieving mental and physical fitness. Principal Padma Jyoti Turaga encouraged the students to imbibe a ‘never say never’ attitude and work towards perfection.
The presentation by the Department of Social Science highlighted the importance of the day and the facts related to the Constitution from its drafting to the implementation which is celebrated as Republic Day.
The focus of the celebrations was to guide the students to be well informed and duty-bound throughout their journey to cherish the goals of our Constitution makers. Speaking at the event, students told that they will strive to uphold the values of Constitution.
