Hyderabad: Students and teachers of Delhi Public School, Nacharam observed International Volunteer Day on December 3.
Students of grades III and IV tinted the significance of volunteering by sharing their life experiences and by writing a slogan on Volunteers Day on their headgear. They involved themselves energetically by sharing their experience as a volunteer. They publicised their interest in volunteering by mentioning it on their headgear.
Teachers validated the worth of volunteering as it is a two-way street: it can benefit you and your family as much as the cause you choose to help. Dedicating your time as a volunteer helps you make new friends, expand your network, intense cultural exchange and boost your social skills.
