Delhi Public School: Yoga, music has healing power
On Music Day, the tiny musicians of the school took part in the celebrations by playing makeshift instruments made of utensils and singing hymns and songs along with their teachers.

Delhi Public School, Nadergul organised Yoga Day and Music Day celebrations which saw an overwhelming response from students. International Yoga Day was celebrated on June 21. This day specifically embodies unity of mind and body and helped the students to under- stand the importance of unity of mind and nature, the school said adding that the children whole heartedly took part in the Yoga demonstration.

Music Day was commemorated and organised, to bring out the talent in each student in form of singing, playing an instrument, debates, public speaking etc. This was also an important day to familiarize the little ones with famous singers and their compositions. Green Day was also celebrated with great avidity and keenness by children.
They enjoyed the day by dressing up as trees. The importance of Green Day is sig- nificant as it teaches the impor- tance of sustainability. The mo- tive was to make kids aware of the importance of environment.
