Depressed over TRS defeat, party worker ends life in Dubbak Constituency

Kothinti Swamy (34) of Konaipally in Dulthabad mandal in Dubbak Constituency was found hanging to a tree on the outskirts of the village in the early hours of Wednesday.

Siddipet: An ardent fan of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) from Dubbak Assembly Constituency has committed suicide unable to digest the defeat of TRS canddiate in Dubbak by-poll.

Kothinti Swamy (34) of Konaipally in Dulthabad mandal in Dubbak Constituency was found hanging to a tree on the outskirts of the village in the early hours of Wednesday.

Swamy was wearing a TRS scarf around his neck.

The victim was survived by three children. He was reportedly depressed as TRS candidate Solipeta Sujatha lost the Dubbak by-poll to BJP candidate M Raghunandan Rao with a slender margin.
