Depressed woman ends life in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 35-year-old woman, allegedly depressed over her family problems died by suicide in Hussain Sagar, police said here on Wednesday.

Tabassum Begum (30), a resident of MS Maktha was married to Mohd Rizwan, an auto-rickshaw driver in 2016, and was allegedly depressed over frequent fights with her husband and left the house on Tuesday and went to the lake and jumped into it.

Her body was found by Lake Police personnel, who alerted the Saifabad police and other police stations. Her body was retrieved with the help of swimmers and handed over to her family members.

The Saifabad police are investigating. The body was shifted to the Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy.
