Dev Vipul Patel, Viraj Gohil set up boys’ singles final at ITF Juniors Hyderabad
Dev Vipul Patel and Viraj Gohil advanced to the boys’ singles final of the Raja Narasimha Rao Memorial ITF Juniors (J60) in Hyderabad. In the girls’ draw, Aishwarya Jadhav and Snigdha Kanta came through tense three-set semifinals to set up the summit clash

Hyderabad: Fifth seed Dev Vipul Patel defeated fourth seed Aditya More 6-1, 6-4, while second seed Viraj Gohil scored a 6-3, 7-6(2) win against 16th seed Shaurya Bhardwaj in the boys’ singles semifinals of the Raja Narasimha Rao Memorial ITF Juniors (J60) tennis tournament at the New Dimension Tennis Academy, Bhuvanagiri, on Friday.
In the girls’ semifinals, top seed Aishwarya Jadhav recorded a hard-fought 6-2, 6-7(3), 7-6(1) victory against 16th seed Sree Syleswari Velmanikandan, while Snigdha Kanta notched up a 6-1, 4-6, 6-1 win against unseeded Shreenitli Chowdhury.
The semifinals:
Boys – Singles: Dev Vipul Patel bt Aditya More 6-1, 6-4; Viraj Gohil bt Shaurya Bhardwaj 6-3, 7-6(2).
Boys – Doubles: Thomas Coppi (Fra) & Pranav Mahesh Saravanakumar bt Aum Hiren Thakkar & Panshul Uboveja 6-3, 6-1.
Girls – Singles: Aishwarya Jadhav bt Sree Syleswari Velmanikandan 6-2, 6-7(3), 7-6(1); Snigdha Kanta bt Shreenitli Chowdhury 6-1, 4-6, 6-1.
Girls – Doubles: B. Nainika Narender Reddy & Snigdha Kanta bt Savitha Bhuvaneswaran & Sree Syleswari Velmanikandan 6-3, 6-2; Shreenitli Chowdhury & O. Harsha Karthika bt Aishwarya Jadhav & Aakruti Sonkusare 6-2, 6-4.
