Kothagudem: The Director General of Police (DGP), M Mahender Reddy, inaugurated a petrol bunk constructed by the police department at Paloncha in Kothagudem district on Monday in a virtual function.
The Bhadradri Police Welfare Service Station was built in association with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited at Paloncha police station as part of the district police’s welfare activity and to offer quality service to the public, informed the Superintendent of Police (SP), Sunil Dutt.
It is the first petrol bunk built by the police (law and order) department in the State. The staff was recruited by the department on an outsourced basis to work at the petrol station. The fuelling needs of the police in Kothagudem and Paloncha areas would also be fulfilled by the petrol bunk.
Additional SP, KRK Prasad, Assistant Superintendent of Police, B Rohith Raju and others were present.
