He asked the drivers to duly follow road safety norms, not to overtake vehicles. He noted that the initiative was aimed at reducing deaths caused by road mishaps. He opined families of victims of road accidents would be thrown out of gear.

The DGP then administered an oath to the drivers on road safety norms. He released brochures of the Arrive Alive programme. He earlier inaugurated Bharosa centre and handed over cheques of financial aid to victims of POCSO Act in Nirmal town. He interacted with members of Police Akka force formed by Nirmal police.

SP Dr Janaki Sharmila, Bhainsa ASP Rajesh Meena, his counterpart from Nirmal Sai Kiran, DFO Sushanth Bobade and other officials were present.
