Hyderabad: Dhrithi Kesari’s impressive bowling performance (six for 37) was the highlight of the Hyderabad-Uttarakhand match, which ended in a tie in the BCCI Women’s (Under-23) Cricket Championship match at Dehradun on Wednesday.

Batting first, Hyderabad were bowled out for 185 in 43.3 overs, with captain Vanka Pooja (65, 81b, 8×4, 2×6) being the top-scorer.


In reply, Uttarakhand, which looked on course for an easy win at one stage, were rocked by off-spinner Dhrithi’s splendid bowling (8-0-37-6) and were bowled out for 185 in 27 overs as the match ended in a tie.

The scores: Hyderabad 185 in 45.3 overs (Vanka Pooja 65, Sabhya 2/17, Nisha Mishra 2/19) tied with Uttarakhand 185 in 27 overs (Yashika 50, Dipika Chand 50, Dhrithi Kesari 6/37).
