Hyderabad: If there’s one thing the entire nation is obsessed with currently, it is Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’ and his popular dialogue ‘Thaggedhe Le’. But were you aware that a restaurant in Jubilee Hills is serving a cocktail called ‘Thaggedhe Ledu’? The alcohol-based drink is made of vodka and coconut water and the description on the menu says ‘Take it if you want to cut it’.
Priced at Rs 450, ‘Thaggedhe Ledu’ is available at AnTeRa Kitchen and Bar at Road No 10 in Jubilee Hills. The other cocktails on the menu are equally eye-catching like ‘Anthega Anthega’, ‘Jaati Ratnam’, ‘Fasak’, ‘Aipayee’, ‘Ichipaad’, ‘Monagadu’, ‘Sundari’, and ‘Oddhamma Saroja’. Making matters more interesting is the fact that ‘Thaggedhe Ledu’ has been on AnTeRa’s menu much before the film ‘Pushpa’ hit the theatres and broke records worldwide.
The restaurant was inaugurated in July last year and it has culinary and traditional legacies of Telangana, Andhra, and Rayalaseema on the food menu. Thotakura Liver Fry, Chicken Pappu Charu Annam, Chicken Perugu Pachadi, Bobbatlu with jaggery ice cream, and Kobbari Milk are some of the items on the vast menu.
