As the programme commenced and the Gadwal MLA tried to address the gathering, supporters of Saritha Tirupataiah objected to his speech. They demanded that Saritha Tirupataiah should be invited onto the stage.

As the Nagarkurnool MP tried to speak to Saritha’s supporters and appealed to them to calm down, they raised slogans against Krishnamohan Reddy. As the situation was going out of control, police had to intervene and caned the supporters of Saritha.

After the situation came under control, the programme was continued and farmers were briefed about the Bhu Bharathi portal.
