Hyderabad: Pandemic has treated everybody in different ways and actor Digangana Suryavanshi was no exception. The ‘Seetimaarr’ actor started exploring and learning new things while travelling.
The actor has explored places like Ladakh, Kashmir, Omkareshwar and Indore, and says the journey has “given some very memorable experiences of her life”. “I have travelled a lot this year. My parents and I went on a road trip to Omkareshwar and Indore, and also visited my grandmother’s place to spend time with them, which gave me a lot of memories,” shares the actor.
Digangana loves to travel with a purpose and this time it was to spend time with her parents. “I have stayed in Ladakh for 35 days which, I would say, is an amazing trip in my travel diaries, besides Kashmir where we went on Shikara rides.”
The young actor also tried her hand in baking but guess what… she ended up burning all the cakes. “I tried my best but they went for a toss,” she says, laughing out loud.
Like other celebrities, even Digangana was busy working out at home during the pandemic-induced lockdown. The actor was more into yoga and cycling to get fit. “I’m a bit anxious to go to the gym, though everything started I just don’t want to take a chance for now,” says Digangana, who is busy working for OTT and movies.
Talking about her projects, she says, “My focus is always movies, while I find OTT challenging for me personally. I would love to do roles which are different. Recently, I started working for a Telugu film which is yet to be titled, where I would be starring opposite Sundeep Kishan. I will be seen as an investigative officer in this film.”
“I have a couple more projects, which are completely different that give me a different feel and experience. I don’t like to be stuck in a mould,” she adds.
Digangana would be next seen in ‘The Battle of Bhima Koregaon’. She shares that she always wished to work in a historical film. “It’s a war film, and I love doing historical films. This is something I wished to do all my life. I like playing a character in stories from the bygone era. This story is based in 1818, and I’m completely in love with the film. It is based on a real incident and I came to know more about the culture of Pune,” shares the actor.
