Hyderabad: A 3 km Digital Literacy Run to promote digital inclusion and youth empowerment through technology was hosted by Kriti Social Initiatives, in partnership with AMD, at T-Works, Raidurgam, on Sunday.
More than 1,000 participants, including students, families, volunteers, AMD employees, and partner organisations, joined in the event. Kriti Social Initiatives has been working in the areas of women’s skill development and children’s education since 2009. As part of its mission to empower youth, the organisation has introduced computer education and digital learning programs across several Government Schools.
Over the past two years, AMD and Kriti Social Initiatives have reached more than 10,000 beneficiaries through jointly implemented projects. The Digital Literacy Run further strengthened this mission by bringing together students, families, and partners to celebrate the transformative impact of digital skills.
Sreelata Chebrol, Trustee, Kriti Social Initiatives, said, “In this digital age, it is essential that everyone has access to critical digital literacy skills. This Run aimed to raise awareness about that need and brought together several NGOs working in this space.”
