Diya Ramesh and Showrya Samala of India recorded upset victories in the girls and boys categories respectively in the first round of the Asian Junior U-14 Grade

Hyderabad: Diya Ramesh and Showrya Samala of India recorded upset victories in the girls and boys categories respectively in the first round of the Asian Junior U-14 Grade – A for Boys and Girls Tennis Tournament held at the Secunderabad Club on Monday.

Diya crushed fifth seed Sun Jeung Park of Korea 6-0, 6-0 while Showrya stunned third seed Om Verma 6-4, 6-2 in boys category.
