DJ operator dies while operating public address system in Siddipet

A 22-year-old DJ operator died after falling unconscious while operating a public address system during a procession at Singatam village in Siddipet district on Sunday night. Police said the operator had worked without obtaining prior permission.

Siddipet: The high-intensity sounds and vibrations of a public address system claimed the life of its operator at Singatam village in Gajwel mandal on Sunday night. According to Gajwel rural police, the victim, Bandari Dinesh (22), a resident of Kolagur, was operating a public address system for a living.

A pandal committee at Singatam village had hired his DJ services for the Sunday procession. While the procession was underway, Dinesh fell unconscious while operating the system. The locals tried to revive him by performing CPR, but to no avail.

When he was rushed to the government hospital in Gajwel, the doctors declared him dead. The police, who registered a case, said that the operator had worked without obtaining prior permission.
