Hyderabad: Actor-screenwriter Siddhu Jonnalagadda and actress Neha Shetty participated in Green India Challenge initiated by Rajya Sabha MP J Santosh Kumar, and planted saplings at Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Park at Jubilee Hills on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, the duo thanked Santosh Kumar for launching the Green India Challenge initiative which aims at improving the green cover in the country. They stressed the importance of planting and protecting trees to save the environment.

The actors appealed to people that everyone should plant trees to offer oxygen to the coming generations and for making the country green and clean India.

Further, Siddhu and Neha nominated actors Aadarsh Balakrishna, Shivathmika Rajashekar, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prince Cecil, and producer Naga Vamsi.
