Hyderabad: IKEA Hyderabad organised the vibrant rhythms of West Africa with The Djembe Circle hosting an engaging Djembe workshop for the public. This unique cultural event promises an unforgettable musical experience for participants of all ages and backgrounds.

The workshop, conducted by experienced facilitator Sai Kumar from The Djembe Circle, aims to introduce the powerful and joyful tradition of African drumming to the Hyderabad community. Whether you’re a seasoned percussionist or have never touched a drum before, this interactive session will get your hands moving and your spirits soaring, a press release said.

Sai Kumar, Founder, The Djembe Circle, said the participants learnt basic rhythms, hand techniques, and play in group harmony, discovering the joy of collective music-making.

“Drums will be provided on-site, ensuring everyone can join in the fun. At The Djembe Circle, we believe in the power of rhythm to bring people together. This workshop is not just about learning music—it’s about connection, expression, and joy,” he added.
