Doctor couple luckily escapes after car crashes into paddy field in Medak

Dr Srikanth and his wife Dr Lakshmi lost control of the car and plunged into a paddy field at Shankar Thanda in Shivvampet mandal

Medak: A doctor couple had a lucky escape with minor injuries after their car lost control and plunged into a paddy field at Shankar Thanda in Shivvampet mandal on Saturday.

The couple, Dr Srikanth and his wife Dr Lakshmi, who had nursing homes in Toopran and Veldurthi, were going to Toopran from Veldurthi.

Since a 6 km stretch of the road was being laid, the contractor had uloaded a heap of gravel on roadside. Srikanth’s car hit the gravel and slipped into the roadside agriculture field. They were shifted to the government hospital in Toopran.
