Doctors’ service during pandemic hailed by Nacharam DPS

Hyderabad: To mark National Doctors’ Day, Delhi Public School, Nacharam organised a special programme on July 1 to reminisce the services rendered by doctors during this pandemic. The event began with dance and lighting of the lamp.
The guest of honour of the day was Dr. Kiranmayi a renowned Ayurvedic doctor who addressed the students of classes VII and VIII and explained the importance of immunity boosters that Ayurveda provides and safety precautions that one has to take.
Dr. Kiranmayi apprised the meaning of wearing the white and blue coat by the doctors, that white is the colour of purity and blue is the colour of blessing. She also mentioned that the birthday of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy and the first female doctor Anandi Gopal Josh is celebrated as National Doctor’s Day.
School principal Sunitha Rao in her address gave a standing ovation in her office to delineate the ministration done by the doctors. Vice Principal Gowri Venkatesh extolled the efforts of the doctors lauding the selfless committal of the doctors to save humanity.
Students paid their heartfelt tribute by presenting a motivational video for the dear doctors. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Haasini of class VIII-A, promising the nation that every student prays for the well-being of the doctors.
