Donate online through QR Code for gold plating of Yadadri temple Vimana Gopuram now

The Temple EO Geeta said the devotees could pay their contribution by scanning the QR Code, which was created for the bank account of Indian Bank, Yadagirigutta branch.

Yadadri-Bhongir: Devotees planning to contribute money for the gold plating of the Vimana Gopuram of the renovated Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple at Yadadri can now make digital payments. The temple authorities have released a QR code making it simple for the devout to make digital contributions.

Releasing the QR Code at a media conference here on the Yadadri hill shrine, temple Executive Officer N Geetha said the QR code was being released after the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s decision to involve devotees in getting the vimana gopuram gold plated. It was estimated 125 kgs of gold is required for the gold plating.


The Temple EO Geeta said the devotees could pay their contribution by scanning the QR Code, which was created for the bank account of Indian Bank, Yadagirigutta branch. Devotees could pay through all payments apps like Phonepe, Google Pay and others and online apps. It was exclusively for receiving donations from the devotees for gold planting work, he added.

The Chief Minister had also announced his personal contribution to the temple and many elected representatives have followed suit K Chandrashekhar Rao had personally announced that his family would contribute 1.16 kg of gold and declared that every gram panchayat would be requested to donate some money “even if it is just Rs 11”.

Following the announcement, there has been a tremendous response to the announcement and the temple management had been receiving contributions in cash and gold.
