Hyderabad: Delhi Public School, Nacharam organised Commerce Week celebrations in August for its Senior Secondary students with great pomp and show. The program was inaugurated by chief guest CS Navajyoth Puttaparthi, chairman of the ICSI chapter, Hyderabad along with school principal Sunitha Rao. The chief guest narrated to students his successful journey and propelled them to stay consistent and work hard towards a better balanced future.
In the bipartite event on the first day of the two-day celebration, Accounts Analytica had a series of creative role plays on the role of accountancy in other disciplines and skits on financial analysis stole the show. The program also highlighted the system control checks which provided insights into auditing. The next portrayal – Econo Blogger, started with a unique news report from a parallel world providing an interesting outlook on digitalization and its transformation.

Animated presentations on the concept of a cashless economy and its global trend were demonstrated. A panel discussion on the need for the wider acceptance of the digitalisation gave the audience a reality check. A hilarious skit by grade 12 students and an absorbing street play enraptured the audience.
On the second day students engaged in a plethora of ingenious activities such as cartooning, business idea, Ad Mad, connecting dots and raise your mic. Activities like pioneering innovations introduced the audience to innovations born out of the pandemic. An invigorating address by the chief guest Khushi Mehta, CEO of Learnero ignited the innate business visionary in students. Students of grade 12 imparted few lessons on networking along with thrilling programme Shark Tank.
The commerce week culminated with valediction ceremony where E-Newsletter was unveiled by the senior vice-principal Nandita Sunkara and Commerce coordinator Ajay Bharat Pandey.
