Driver escapes unhurt as bus rams into car, triggers fire in Shankarpally

A driver escaped unhurt after a speeding private travels bus rammed into his car at Mahalingapuram near Shankarpally on Friday morning. The impact pushed the car off the road, causing it to catch fire. Locals rescued the driver, and police registered a case.

Vikarabad: A driver had a narrow escape after a speeding private travels bus rammed into his car which got completely burnt at Shankarpally here on Friday morning.

The incident occurred at Mahalingapuram when the private travels bus was heading towards Shankarpally from Vikarabad. The speeding bus hit the car and such was the impact that the four-wheeler got pushed off the road and flames erupted instantly.

Hearing the screams from the car, locals rushed to the spot and resuced the driver. As none suffered injuries in the incident, they heaved a sigh of relief.

After learning about the incident, Shankarpally police arrived at the spot and registered a case, reports said.
