Hyderabad: The LB Nagar police busted a drug racket and arrested six persons at Mansoorabad late on Sunday night. Police seized 12 grams of hashish oil, 45 grams of marijuana and five mobile phones from them.

The arrested persons were G Prashanth, S Amarthyan Reddy, B Samrat, P Aravind, Sundar Raj and G Venkatesh. One suspect, Ranjith, was absconding.

According to the police, Prashanth and Amarthyan had contacted Sundar, a drug peddler from Jubilee Hills, who introduced them to Ranjith, from whom they bought hashish oil for Rs.6,000 by paying through e-wallet,” an official said, adding that they sold the drug to Samrat and Aravind and other known customers.
