Drunk driving accident: Man held over murder charges in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Bachupally police on Monday arrested a man for his alleged involvement in an accident earlier this month resulting in the death of the pillion rider.
According to the police, the arrested person V Durga Prasad (19) of Bachupally along with his friend was going on July 4 on the Dollar Hills Road and rammed into the road divider at high speed. His friend B Veera fell off the bike and died.
“Durga Prasad was in an inebriated condition and was driving the bike without a valid driving license at high speed resulting in the accident,” the Bachupally police said. He was arrested on Monday and produced before the court.
