e-Pass must for inter-State travel: DGP Mahendar Reddy
It is applicable to those travelling to other States or inter-district travelling and also for those travelling from one place to another in the limits of three Commissionerates - Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda.
Hyderabad: An e-Pass issued by the Police department is mandatory for those travelling in emergency situations during lockdown in Telangana, Director-General of Police M Mahendar Reddy said here on Tuesday.
It is applicable to those travelling to other States or inter-district travelling and also for those travelling from one place to another in the limits of three Commissionerates – Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda.
Those intending to take the pass must apply through the website https://policeportal.tspolice.gov.in/ and will be issued by the Commissioners of Police and Superintendents of Police concerned. Passengers travelling by flights and trains are also allowed to travel, provided they carry the valid tickets.
Those travelling to Telangana from other States must obtain a pass from their respective State authorities.
