Huzurabad: TS Planning Board Vice-Chairman B Vinod Kumar said on Thursday that BJP candidate for Huzurabad by-election Eatala Rajender had no moral right to seek votes from the people since he resigned from the State Assembly without any valid reason and with his own agenda.

Vinod said the BJP leader failed to come out with even a single valid reason for his resignation in the last five months. “Why should people of the constituency then vote for him?” he questioned, adding that Rajender was only trying to project his own issue as the problem of the people of Huzurabad people but was not revealing facts behind his resignation.

Rajender never said that he had resigned due to the non-sanction of developmental works, pensions, Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima, Vinod Kumar said and wanted Rajender to tell the reason behind the resignation. People would teach a befitting lesson to Rajender, who criticized TRS and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. Vinod Kumar came down heavily on Karimnagar MP and BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar for neglecting the constituency.

The railway department has rejected the Kazipet-Huzurabad-Manakondur-Karimnagar railway line. However, the MP was least bothered about the issue, he said and wanted Sanjay Kumar to take steps to sanction the railway line.

When the railway department rejected the Hyderabad-Manoharabad-Gajwel-Siddipet-Sircilla-Vemulawada-Karimnagar railway line, he, being an MP, strove hard to get sanction for the railway line.
