Eatala Rajender flays intelligence IG, alleges official playing politics
Hundreds of intelligence police are going around the constituency and working as activists of political parties. If you (Prabhakar Rao) want to play politics, you can join the TRS, the BJP leader said
Karimnagar: BJP leader Eatala Rajender came down heavily on IG (Intelligence) Prabhakar Rao on Wednesday for allegedly deploying a large number of intelligence officials in Huzurabad Assembly constituency.
Addresing the media at Jammikunta, Rajender said: “Hundreds of intelligence police are going around the constituency and working as activists of political parties. If you (Prabhakar Rao) want to play politics, you can join the TRS,” he said, and alleged that DSP level officials were deployed in every police station.
“People are observing the attitude of the State government and they will teach a befitting lesson in the election. The TRS candidate will not even get back his deposit if the party fights the Huzurabad by-election in a democratic manner without adopting illegal methods,” he said.
Commenting on the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s Dalit Empowerment Scheme, Rajender said this was another drama to cheat the Dalits once again. “Though Dalits account for over 16 per cent of the State’s population, they got a raw deal in political, administrative positions as well as in welfare schemes. Only one person from the community was made minister both in the first and second term of the TRS government,” he said.
Stating that no special measure was taken for the welfare of Dalits who were getting pensions, ration cards and other benefits just like other communities, Rajender challenged the government to reveal the money spent on education, health, double bedroom houses, businesses of Dalits under the SC sub-plan during the last seven years.
