Nalgonda: Members of the TRSV on Monday conducted ksheerabhisekham to the portrait of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao thanking him for according top priority to the education sector in allocation of funds in the budget. Students raised slogans in support of the Chief Minister and exuded confidence that the students would get golden era in the TRS government.

Speaking on the occasion, TRSV state general secretary B Nagarjuna reminded that quality of education in government educational schools was improved on par with corporate schools in the state. The students of government residential schools developed achieved ranks more than that of corporate schools in the annual examinations.


To improve the facilities and infrastructure in government schools, the state government has taken up Mana Vooru-Mana Badi programme and earmarked Rs. 7,289 crores in the budget for the programme. In addition to this, Rs 1,000 crore have been allocated in the budget for setting up of medical colleges at Medak, Medchal, Ranga Reddy, Mulugu, Warangal, Narayanpet and Gadwal. It was also proposed in the budget to setup a exclusive university for women and Forest University in the state.
