Hyderabad: Several noted philanthropist and educational institutions have come forward to help the students affected by recent floods in the city by assuring to take care of their education and related material.

MS Education Academy has assured to accommodate such students intending to seek admission in school or higher education institutions run by the academy. “Keeping in mind the financial constraints on the family, we will be providing free admission for this academic year. Also the fees of the students who are studying in our schools across the city and suffered during floods, will be waved off,” said Anwar Ahmed, Managing Director, MS Education Academy.

For this, the student have to get a letter from the nearby mosque or temple committee or some reputed person of the locality authenticating that they were affected by the floods. It will be followed by a verification process.

This apart, the Academy along with the Himalaya Book Store is taken up an initiative to provide a special kit containing note books, stationery and school bags to the students in the affected areas. “Our volunteers are going from house to house in the affected areas and handing out coupons to the families. The same can be redeemed at the nearest distribution centers,” said Ahmed.
