Efforts to make Nakrekal a model municipality: Chairman
Municipal Chairman Konda Srinivas Goud assured that issues pertaining to open drainage and drinking water supply which the people brought to his notice, would be resolved
Nalgonda: Nakrekal Municipal Chairman Konda Srinivas Goud on Monday said that top priority would be given to sanitation and cleanliness as part of developing Nakrekal into a model municipality.
Goud, accompanied by municipal commissioner Balaji, inspected the 14th ward in the municipality and interacted with the people to know the issues in their area. He also assured that issues pertaining to open drainage and drinking water supply which the people brought to his notice, would be resolved. He asked the people to bring issues in their wards to his notice.
The municipal chairman said that public toilets would be constructed in select places in the town for the convenience of the people who visit the town from surrounding villages for shopping and other works. He also sought the cooperation of the people in developing Nakrekal as a model town, which, he said, was the dream of Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah.
