Election results may not always mirror efforts, but support messages boost morale, says KTR
BRS working president KT Rama Rao acknowledged that electoral results may not always reflect the hard work of party leaders and workers, urging encouragement from supporters to lift morale. Following the Jubilee Hills by-election defeat of BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha, supporters rallied behind KTR, criticising Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and alleging electoral malpractices by Congress.
Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi working president KT Rama Rao on Saturday acknowledged that electoral outcomes do not always reflect the hard work put in by the leaders and workers. They may not align with expectations, but a word of encouragement from supporters helps uplift spirits.
In a post on X, he expressed gratitude to his well-wishers and tagged their messages.
“Results may not always reflect the work we do… or match our expectations. But messages like these boost our morale. Thank you to all who supported us.”
The post came in the wake of the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election results, where BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha failed to secure victory amid allegations of electoral malpractices by the ruling Congress.
Results may not always reflect the work we put in, or be in line with our expectations
But messages such as these below serve as morale boosters
Supporters rallied behind Rama Rao in the aftermath of the defeat, urging the party to emerge stronger and assuring that his efforts would not go to waste. Lambasting Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, one BRS supporter accused the Chief Minister of incompetence in administration and foul play in the elections.
“This Chief Minister is inefficient in governance. This illegal, undemocratic victory was achieved with the collusion of Congress, BJP, AIMIM, along with the police and Election Commission,” the supporter wrote, adding that Telangana would not tolerate hooliganism and illegal alliances.
The message further highlighted how BRS’s campaign efforts attacked rival parties sharply, forcing the Chief Minister to personally campaign on the streets of Jubilee Hills for eight days.
“Election rules were blatantly violated. Congress stuffed thousands of fake votes. They suffered a moral defeat. Even on polling day, cabinet ministers lured voters with bribes and roamed in convoys,” the supporter alleged.
Other supporters showered praise on Rama Rao’s leadership qualities, with one noting: “Your clarity, speed and vision are far bigger than this by-election. Your leadership will only grow stronger. We are all proud of your hard work in the Jubilee Hills by-poll.”
Another added that the loss saddened even those not affiliated with the party, stating “Your efforts should never be in vain. You are the leader who transformed this State and Hyderabad.
