Electric car crashes into multiple vehicles in Kukatpally, driver flees

An electric car driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into several vehicles and a roadside tiffin shop near Vivekananda Nagar Arch in Kukatpally on Thursday morning. Several motorists were injured, while the driver fled after abandoning the vehicle.

Hyderabad: A car rammed into several vehicles at Kukatpally Road after its driver lost control of the vehicle on Thursday morning.

The incident took place around 10:30 am at the Vivekananda Nagar Arch, towards Allwyn Colony Road.


According to the police, the driver of the electric car lost control and rammed into several vehicles on the road. The car could finally stop after crashing into a roadside tiffin shop. Soon after the incident, the local people gathered and informed the police. The local police reached the spot and shifted a few more motorists who were injured to hospital.

The police have registered a case under section 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for negligent rash driving. The driver left the vehicle and fled from the scene.
