Peddapalli: An electric trap set up for fishing claimed the life of a man at Gopalraopet in Dharmaram mandal. The victim, identified as Mekala Ravi (48), was electrocuted after accidentally coming into contact with a live wire.
According to villagers, Ravi had gone to a local rivulet for fishing on Sunday night and was found dead on the riverbank the following morning. Police, who visited the spot, registered a case and launched an investigation.
