Nizamabad: A private electrician who climbed onto an electric pole to provide power connection to a welding shop electrocuted after he came into contact with an 11 KV line at Navipet mandal headquarters of Nizamabad district on Thursday afternoon. He was rushed to a hospital and died while undergoing treatment on Friday. His family members alleged involvement of a lineman in his death.

Razak, the private electrician, was reportedly asked by the local lineman Shekhar to provide a connection to the welding shop. On his request Razak climbed onto the pole and got electrocuted, his relatives alleged. Razak got stuck on the electric pole and local people brought him down and got him admitted to a hospital.
