Electricians attacked with sticks following altercation in Shamshabad

Two electricians were allegedly attacked by neighbours with sticks in Rallaguda, Shamshabad, following a dispute over an object that reportedly fell on a house. The victims sustained serious injuries and were hospitalised, while their family members alleged police inaction.

Hyderabad: Two youths were allegedly attacked with sticks by their neighbours at Rallaguda in Shamshabad over an object falling on the latter’s house on Wednesday.

The duo, identified as Haider Khan and Waheed Khan, both electricians suffered serious injuries in the attack and were shifted to Osmania General Hospital for treatment. Their condition is said to be stable.

The incident has triggered concern among the victims’ family members, who alleged that the men were attacked while attending to their duties.

The victims’ family further alleged that the attack took place in the presence of police personnel, but no one came forward to protect the injured youths. They demanded stringent action against those responsible for the assault.
