Eleven MBBS students hospitalised after suspected food poisoning in Godavarikhani

Eleven MBBS students of Singareni Institute of Medical Sciences, Ramagundam, were hospitalised with suspected food poisoning after consuming biryani at a hotel in Godavarikhani during a classmate's birthday celebration. The students developed vomiting and loose motions and are undergoing treatment

Peddapalli: Eleven MBBS students fell sick due to suspected food poisoning after eating biryani in a hostel in Godavarikhani on Saturday. Medical students studying MBBS at Singareni Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS), Ramagundam, celebrated the birthday of one of their classmates.

As part of the celebrations, they ate biryani at a hotel near Kavitha Theatre in Godavarikhani. After consuming the biryani, they developed vomiting and loose motions. They were immediately shifted to the Government Area Hospital in Godavarikhani, where they are undergoing treatment.
