Nirmal: Forest Minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy instructed the officials concerned to strictly implement the 10-day lockdown across the State. He toured Nirmal town and inspected the lockdown on Wednesday.

Indrakaran advised policemen to take care of their health, while strictly enforcing the lockdown. He urged the public not to roam outdoors and sought them to wear a face if they had to venture outdoors. He wanted them to extend their cooperation to policemen who were implementing the norms of the lockdown, aimed at breaking the chain of the virus.

The Minister interacted with traders and roadside vendors and requested them to follow norms of the lockdown. He requested the citizens not to panic if they develop symptoms of Covid-19. He told them to diagnose the disease and to consume drugs prescribed by doctors. He stated that the government was providing medicines and tests for free.

Matchless services by nurses

Indrakaran opined that nurses were rendering matchless services. He thanked them on the occasion of International Nurses Day. He said that the nurses were playing a vital role in combating the dreaded virus by showing unwavering determination and dedication. He said that they were protecting patients of Covid-19 by risking their lives.
