Hyderabad: The International Cricket Council (ICC) had announced the teams of the decade in three formats Tests, ODIs and T20s recently, sparking debates over team compositions.
While a few hit out at the cricket body for not picking even a single cricketer from Pakistan despite talented cricketers like Babar Azam and Younis Khan in this decade. However, for the fans of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, it was a wonderful news as he is the only cricketer to make it to all the teams.
England cricketer Ben Stokes made it to the ODI and Test teams of the decade. However, he was not so impressed with the ICC for the way the caps are made. The ICC awarded the caps to each player who made it to their team of the decade. But the caps looked more like Australia’s Baggy Green. Stokes took to Instagram to show his displeasure. “Very proud of both these caps, one of them just doesn’t seem right, it’s a bit BAGGY and GREEN thanks @icc,” he captioned two pics wearing the caps. In reply, ICC responded saying, “Sorry @BenStokes38.”
