Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar on Thursday instructed officials to take necessary steps to ensure Aadhaar card for all apart from linking it with their phone numbers.
He gave these directions to officials during a high-level meeting convened at BRKR Bhavan. Since over six lakh people are born every year, officials must issue Aadhaar cards for them, he said.
He asked Education and Women and Child Welfare departments to take steps for generating Aadhaar cards to children between 0 and five years.
