Ensure safety, maintain punctuality of trains with the help of Fog Safety Devices during winter : SCR GM
While giving the instructions at a safety review meeting, SCR General Manager, Arun Kumar Jain, reviewed the stock position of fog safety devices over the zone and instructed the officials to ensure sufficient stocks in view of the ensuing foggy weather conditions.
Hyderabad: Ensure safety and punctuality of train operations with the help of fog safety devices during the winter season, the officials of South Central Railway (SCR) were instructed on Tuesday.
While giving the instructions at a safety review meeting, SCR General Manager, Arun Kumar Jain, reviewed the stock position of fog safety devices over the zone and instructed the officials to ensure sufficient stocks in view of the ensuing foggy weather conditions.
He also advised the officials to enhance surprise safety inspections to ensure observance of safety guidelines and safe working practices. Officials were told to ensure proper working of CCTV cameras at loading and unloading points at all Railway sidings to avert any errors.
Arun Kumar Jain also held a detailed review on status of elimination of level crossing gates across the zone and advised the officials to speed up the construction of Road under Bridges and Road over Bridges so as to complete them within the targeted time.
