Hyderabad: Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Sunday instructed the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development officials to submit a report on the vacancies in the department and affiliated wings to the Finance department and government by Monday.

The Minister held a meeting with officials, including those from Rural Water Supply, Panchayat Raj Engineering wing, SERP, Streenidhi, Telangana State Institute of Rural Development and other wings on the vacancies. He specifically wanted details pertaining to existing staff like regular, contract, outsourced, contingency posts in mandals, districts and State-level. He also sought a report on the staff requirement especially in view of formation of new districts.
