Hyderabad: Eugenix Hair Sciences, a hair restoration and transplantation clinic, which has set up multiple surgical clinics and consultation centres pan-India is going global this year. The zero-debt company is attracting investor interest, but the company believes that it will meet its expansion needs through internal accruals.

The company has aggressive international expansion plans for 2022. Their first international surgical clinic will be set up in Dubai, UAE which will be operational by the end of January. This is the first in a series of clinics that Eugenix plans to open worldwide.

It further plans to open surgical clinics in Philadelphia and Chicago in (US), two in London, (UK), along with its consultation centres in Moscow (Russia), Sydney (Australia) and China in the next 1-2 years. The company currently gets patients from across 150 countries.

Dr Pradeep Sethi, co-founder of Eugenix Hair Sciences, told Telangana Today, “Having started our journey during early 2008, we were the first to introduce direct hair transplantation in India, with close to 98-99 per cent success rate. Our technique was also published in key journals. We are regarded among the five best hair restoration clinics in the world and are the only one with authorisations from the American Hair Loss Association and the International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons.”

Eugenix, co-founded by Dr Arika Bansal, is specialised in hairline design, density creation, corrective hair transplantation, tackling extreme cases of baldness and female hair transplantation. The company has acquired quality equipment from Germany and the US. It has created large centres in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bhubaneshwar, and Dehradun. The company plans to add 30 theatres in Delhi by the end of 2022.

The company sees growth opportunities in southern India and has identified Hyderabad and Bengaluru to set up consultation offices in the near future.

“Hair is a protein structure, and the health of the person has a direct impact on its quality or health. Also, male hormones had been found responsible for hair loss. Today, age is no more a factor for baldness. We have treated those around 16-20 years as well. We have also treated a woman who had an acid attack. In total, we have done 10,000 procedures since the inception of Eugenix, including some pro bono procedures. We have also helped restore hair for cancer survivors,” he informed.
